Army Dad Sneaks up Behind and Surprise his Son During Lunch
There’s nothing in the world that can replace the love and comfort that parent can bring. Military moms and dads know this all too well: when they’re gone for long stretches at a time, each homecoming is a moment to hang onto until the next one comes along.
Matthew Peters of Owensville, MO, decided that he wanted to surprise his son, Blake, at his elementary school, in front of all the staff and students. The soldier spent one year in Kuwait and Iraq before coming home. And luckily, cameras caught the action and the heartwarming moment the two see one another!
