Traumatized Puppy Mill Dog Makes an Amazing Recovery

A lot of people aren’t aware of the fact that social behavior in dogs is very similar to human beings. While a puppy raised in a loving family will usually be friendly and cheerful, those raised in abusive, isolated environments will show a completely different temperament. Therefore, puppies raised in small, isolated cages are not in the best conditions to be adopted as pets, and are often euthanized.
The Behavioral Rehabilitation Center of the ASPCA works with these anti-social dogs, teaching them to be friendly to humans without fearing them. Watch as the ASPCA works with one of these troubled dogs to produce one of the most incredible and inspiring transformations they have seen.
