Heartbroken Dad has a Message for The Bullies who Drove his 13 yo Son to Suicide
A heartbroken father from New York is enduring a nightmare no parent should ever have to experience. In July 2016, his 13-year-old son committed suicide as the result of constant bullying and torment.
Fitzpatrick’s son, also named Daniel, left behind a note about the bullying he endured at school. He also accused the school administrators of ignoring his pleas for help.
The devastated father recently shared a video, expressing his heartache through his tears, and sending a message to his son’s bullies… and their parents.
“I hope you never, never have to feel what my family is going through right now,” he said. “You get to hold your children every night and day for the rest of your lives and their natural lives. I don’t get that anymore. Your little monsters took that from me and my wife and his sisters.”
Daniel Jr.’s family is sharing his story in the hopes that no other parents have to suffer like they are.
