This Russian Artist Tricks the Mind with Incredible 3D Paintings

If you haven’t heard of Stefan Pabst, now’s the time. This Russian artist quickly went viral with his eye-popping 3D drawings using a technique based in oil dry-brush illusions
According to a profile in Inked Mag, the thirty-something artist has lived in Germany since he was 15 and has been drawing since he was five years old. He started out by drawing in school books during class. These portraits he created as a child were so good that his classmates would request to have him make their own portraits. Now, Stefan’s art is in-demand by fans all over the world. On his website, he says, “I want to show that you can do anything with painting. I want to show the magic of painting.”
