Nobody Wanted this Defective Mastiff Puppy. Until this Girl sees a Photo of Puppy Online

Willow, the Neapolitan mastiff puppy, could have easily been one of those poor creatures, but she wasn’t supposed to be. She’s a purebred, born by breeding. Her brothers and sisters, all healthy, would be sold from $1,000 to $3,000 each. But not Willow. She had a “defect” that made her unwanted by both the breeder and customers: Swimmer’s Syndrome would prevent her from standing or walking at the normal age of three weeks, and she would need expensive therapy to correct this problem.
So Willow’s breeder decided that she needed to throw her out — but not before posting a message on social media. The message was shared until it reached the eyes of Jennifer Williams, the president of 2nd Chances Rescue in Norco, CA, who drove to the breeder to rescue the poor puppy.
And with a little help, therapy, and love, Willow has been growing into a big and strong 8-month-old pup.
