Panda Named Hao Hao gives Birth to Rare Baby Cub

There are only 1,864 giant pandas remaining in the wild. So, in an effort to save this beautiful endangered species, experts are working hard to help breed the bears before they go extinct — especially since pandas have difficulty giving birth in captivity.
That’s why the following video has gone massively viral, marking a breathtaking and rare event for the Animal Kingdom. Hao Hao, a panda at the Paira Daiza Zoo in Belgium, recently delivered a miracle baby. For the past two years, the zoo has hosted Hao Hao and her mate Xing Hui. In partnership with experts from China, artificial insemination successfully impregnating the proud mama bear.
Incredible footage of Hao Hao cradling and washing her tiny, hairless male cub is taking the internet by storm.
The hairless panda cub weighed about 6 oz. at birth and resembled a “little, pink sausage.”
Photos of Hao Hao carefully cradling the baby in her mouth and proudly showing off her adorable offspring are going viral.
